Going to repost my theory: basically Trump's goal was to get a real senate majority while removing Corker+Flake, while at the same time forfeiting the house to the dems. Trey Gowdy and Bob Goodlatte purposely resigned the house judiciary and oversight so that the democrats would get in charge.
Why? I'm not exactly sure, but there would be a serious conflict if they are in charge in investigations that they personally are implicated in. Such as FISA, or AWAN.
Is it possible part of the 716 Billion used for the Military in 2019 will be used on the border wall? If the dems refuse to give funding on the wall, which they will since they have the house majority now, Trump could instead use military funding citing national security reasons instead.
A lot of those districts didn't even have republican candidates, they were automatic wins for dems.
We never really had the senate. If we did, Obamacare would've been repealed and replaced already. Corker/Flake/NoName were blocking us, and basically worse than democrats in that sense.
