party in power always loses the mid term, if you are disappointed you need to read a fucking history book
you want to kill half the people in the country?
half a battle and the less important half
if he told you "ya the house is fucked anon, don't bother" would we be better off or worse off?
but you're still here
we gained in the senate, we didn't just hold onto what we had, which was barely a majority at all, 1 rino's paycheck bounces and trump couldn't do shit
>As i remember there were more resignations on the red side, right?
yeah way more, like 3x
good info, did well historically
Americans like divided government, let the parties fight each other instead of us
the way our government works, if you don't have 60 votes in the senate your not going to get jack shit signed into law, meaning you need both parties more or less on board with your bills, absent some arcane senate rules for very specific budget neutral bills. However things relevant to the executive branch, judicial appointments and cabinet positions, only need 51 votes, so improving our siltation in the senate is a very big deal that some anons are underestimating out of anger of losing the house.
The democrats will certainly have a little more say in how things are run, but they already had that because of the senate needing 60 votes.
Incumbents generally have the advantage in elections, so many R's resigning definitely hurt. But corrupt and comprised R's are not worth keeping
you might be done with politics, but politics isn't done with you
we need 60 votes to pass anything, you're the fucking one who doesn't understand basic civics, nothing was going to pass with or without the house if democrats didn't want it to, that's reality
