The left is by-and-large happy with the results from yesterday.

I work for a major publishing company and it's filled to overflowing with far-left progressives and their mood this morning is disgusting. Granted, this is anecdotal, but on both the state (2 states really as it's a border city) and national levels, they're pleased with the result.

This is disturbing to me as, my primary reason for hoping for a red-wave (or at least to maintain hold of the house as well) I had hoped for some self reflection to be forced upon the Democrats and a change of tactic toward more civil, less SJW PC b/s.

This is not going to happen now - at least, not until 2020. And any arrests and prosecutions of sitting politicians is going to be viewed as a coup-de-etat. Not good.

There are a number of things that must be reconciled or support is going to wither and die.

3 basic possibilities:

1 - the Q team miscalculated and/or underestimated (((their))) strength

2 - the Q team grossly mismanaged expectations if this result 'is' part of the plan.

3 - Larp must be considered.

Frankly, I tend toward 1 with a slight edge over 2. But I have to begin seriously considering 3 at this point.
