Personal experience here. I was in a very serious crash at 5 mo along. They wanted to do an X-ray. I said no. I didn’t even get panoramic X-rays for my teeth. See if they can just take a wait and see approach. If something goes wrong with the baby, God forbid, I think your wife will know it as she would feel a lack of kicking and I truly believe in a mother’s’ instinct if something is not right. They should be able to monitor the baby’s heart rate..do an ultrasound. Please realize I’m not a doctor, just sharing my experience. I wish you the best of luck and am praying so hard right now.
