I understand why people are upset.
Congress and the senate get their glory.
The world knows their names and faces.
When this goes down, history books will ensure they live forever.

We have to accept that we will forever be that crazy fren/fam member.
That fren/fam member who's a manic depressant.

Life is meaningless depressed the next.
We share why we are elated and people listen but then we aren't correct and people stop listening.
They get angry instead and distance themselves from us.
Personally, I have 0 frens left.

My family don't really talk to me and my wife gets madder than a hornet when I discuss politics.
They care but at the end of the day, they have given up.
They have accepted the way the world is and believe nothing will change it.
They believe the powerful will always be powerful and carry little to no regard for us.
For them, even Trump supporters, the elite consider anyone in an economic class below them a waste of effort.
Why do you believe it's so difficult for them to grasp the idea that the most powerful man on the planet is communicating with the lower class?
They have implemented multiple defense mechanisms just to find a way to carry on going nothing bad happens to them.
