Paramedicfag anon here

In my 10 years of helping people including many falls.

Never has anyone ever complained of or hurt their ribs in a fall.

Typical fall injuries in my experience are: hip, femur, wrist/arm (from trying to brace fall), head.

Unless something was sticking out countertop….bench…..chair.

It is not likely the ground would cause this!

You should see some of these "doctors" I hand patients off to in the ER

You just admitted she had another injury! Shoulder!

It is possible yes.

I would think there would have been another injured extremity also

Didn't say it wasn't possible anon.

I am trying to think of a time that I responded to a call with broken ribs from a fall and cannot recall ever doing it. That is all I am saying. Typically there should be another injury associated with it. This has nothing to do with my "skills". Hasn't happened that's all
