The # of people allegedly signing up for these protests is bullshit. I wanted to see if there were any in my area so I could avoid them, since I had to go downtown today. Well, yesterday on twitter I clicked a link from PersistList twitter (2nd in the top searches for the protest hashtags) to find the locations of the protests and, without inputting any info (email or phone #), a new tab opened up and said "Thank you for signing up"…I was so confused. Then I clicked the un-rsvp button & it removed me from the list.
They want to be able to say "400,000 people signed up to protest"!!! IT's all bullshit
