On election day I worked as a temp in my country in Missouri. I had been hired to answer phones and process address changes within the county. Mid-morning I was asked my political affiliation. I answered Republican and in that mostly Democrat county I was asked to help process absentee ballots. I'm not necessarily saying that anything nefarious went on but my apparently Democrat partner wanted to read the "remark" ballots to me . I realized that I would need to SEE the ballots myself so there was no potential for error or fraud. It seemed to me like there was a sloppiness and ease that gave "the appearance of evil". I will plan to work other elections. The swamp is apparently very large.
