LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Police say that crews are investigating after a suspicious package was found at WKYT.

The call about the suspicious package came in around 5:35 p.m.

The Lexington Police Department’s Hazardous Response Unit has been called to the scene to determine what is in the package.

As a safety precaution, police have visited other media outlets, including LEX 18 to check the premises.
