What we NEED to do is tighten up taxes and fees on real estate developers until they beg for mercy. Unfortunately too many of those fucks are friends with state legislators, who will do anything they're told. We're overbuilt, and too many stupid liberal shitheads from here to Timbuktu have moved to Georgia.
I say jack the taxes way up for newcomers. $5,000 fee to sign a lease, $25,000 to sign a mortgage. The longer you've lived here, the cheaper your taxes are. If you can prove you were born here, taxes are just $10. If your parents were born here, you get money back. If your grandparents were born here, you get a free car.
