U.S., Mexico, Canada ministers to sign trade pact Nov. 30, official says

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Cabinet ministers from the United States, Mexico and Canada will sign a new trade agreement on Nov. 30, Mexico’s economy minister said on Thursday. The deal will be signed in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the Mexican Economy Minister Ildefonso Guajardo told reporters at an event in Mexico City. Argentina is hosting the G20 international forum for governments and central bank governors. It was yet to be determined whether the presidents and prime minister will participate in the signing, Guajardo said. “What’s clear is that the signing will take place on Nov. 30,” Guajardo said. After more than a year of negotiations to revamp the North American Free Trade Agreement, the United States and Canada reached a last-gasp deal in September. Mexico and the United States had already struck a bilateral agreement. Legislators from the three countries still have to approve the pact, officially known as the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), before it goes into effect.

The "Penis Dangle" hook earrings are for pierced ears only and are engraved with "Saint Laurent Paris", while the graphic necklace features an adjustable chain and a sizeable penis pendant charm. Much to the disappointment of one fan on Twitter both styles are only available in store. They wrote: "Where do I get the ysl penis earrings and necklace i WANT RHEM [sic]".

Officials: Ronald Reagan LSD probe bigger than you think, 14 nuke sailors snagged

Fourteen sailors from the nuclear reactor department of the aircraft carrier Ronald Reagan face disciplinary action in connection to LSD abuse, Navy officials confirmed this week. Two sailors are already heading to court-martial for using, possessing and distributing the hallucinogenic drug, while three are waiting to see whether they will be charged as well, according to 7th Fleet spokesman Lt. Joe Keiley. Another 10 sailors with the Japan-based ship were administratively disciplined on LSD-related charges, Keiley said. A 15th sailor was also disciplined, but that person was not assigned to the carrier’s reactor department. Keiley said the 14 reactor sailors charged or facing potential charges came from a department with more than 400 personnel.

Accused sailors were removed from all duties pending the findings of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service probe, he said in an email. “Out of an abundance of caution, Ronald Reagan leadership reviewed the work previously performed by the accused sailors and no improper work was identified,” Keiley said in an email to Navy Times. Keiley declined to detail the ranks, ratings or charges that the administratively disciplined personnel faced but said “propulsion plant operations and maintenance are supervised by senior personnel.” “Due to the defense in depth of the design and operation of the propulsion plants, the reactors aboard (the Reagan) remain safe,” he said. Two sailors are awaiting court-martial in connection to allegations they used and distributed LSD. Machinist’s Mate Nuclear 2nd Class Andrew W. Miller faces charges for using, possessing and trafficking the drug from January to February of this year, according to charge sheets. Electrician’s Mate Nuclear 2nd Class Sean M. Gevero is also charged with distributing LSD and possessing nandrolone decanoate, an anabolic steroid, charge sheets state. Lawyers for the two have not responded to requests for comment. The Navy continues to weigh charges against at least three other Reagan sailors for allegedly using and possessing illegal drugs, Keiley said. News of the alleged drug ring broke in February when the Wall Street Journal reported that an investigation was underway regarding drug selling and use among the crew of America’s only aircraft carrier to be stationed outside the United States. Keiley said Japanese authorities also have closed their investigation into whether the American sailors were selling or getting their LSD from local citizens.

Going back to when I worked polls..in another state.. the most important portion of the vote was the security of the ballots..those boxes required a security seal which if tampered with..would have to be set as side and audited with both parties present. Not seeing those seals was definitely a brow raiser for me.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein Cancels Appearance at O.C. Rally Due to Illness

U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein canceled an appearance at a gun control rally in Orange County on Sunday. Feinstein’s campaign manager Jeff Millman says she is getting over a cold. She was scheduled to speak Sunday evening at an event alongside student activists from the Florida high school where 17 people were killed in February. Gun control is one of Feinstein’s signature issues. She authored the now-expired 1994 assault weapons ban. Feinstein’s most recent event was on Friday in Silicon Valley. Millman says she has an event planned Monday in the San Francisco Bay Area but did not provide immediate details. At 85 she is the oldest U.S. senator. De Leon has repeatedly called for a “new voice” in Washington but has not directly focused on her age.
