OK here’s the deal anons. Whitaker is not acting attorney general. He is not allowed to be nominated for the long term position per Supreme Court decision.
But here is what will happen, Trump will make a recess appointment (while Senate is out of Session (now)) and they will be the attorney general and will continue to be as long as they are approved by the Senate when they come back in Session.
