I don't really have a huge opinion of him one way or the other, but this has all been really contrived feeling.
It's all so out of context and unnecessarily forceful.
There is also that he's a staple on Hannity and worked with POTUS, and is a very strong supporter.
He also could just be a useful idiot, where all of those things are true but POTUS is allowing him to think he's doing good by going after that crazy theory.
