Yea tons of US boats around LA Huntington Beach and Oceanside, but those are NAVY towns anyway. Some of the ship names are like SEA and SKI, BUCKET LIST(sounds nuclear) and CLEAN SEA. They're probably just on high alert for nuke attacks. waiting for possible dispatch
