electric utility work fag here. heard on the radio on my way home that there were reported errors on a transmission line just prior to the fire outbreak.

Was it a camp fire?

PG&E is notorious for failing to maintain its lines and has been proven to be liable for prior fires.

Didn't take me long to find the sauce.

Fire is reported "under the high tension powerlines" on Camp Creek Road by the dispatcher.

Again, the AP on my way home reported transmission lines.

Transmission lines carry extremely hgh voltage over long distances.
