In fact, now that I'm thinking about thisโ€ฆ

This could be part of the reason why POTUS used Sessions in his campaign. Then he appointed Sessions as AG. Then, of course, the right thing to do was that Sessions had to recuse himself, as a matter of law.

Everything our POTUS does and has done has been according to the strict rule of law. If he doesn't, it all falls apart. One of the many ways they're attacking him is through lawsuits. So he must stay very strictly within the confines of the law.

Remember early on the media was siding with Sessions when POTUS was threatening to fire him and get someone else. Then didn't Sessions have some sort of press conference where he was asked if he would resign if the President asked him to?? I remember at one point Sessions saying, no way will I resign. I'm here to stay. I could be wrong on this, not sure.

But then what happens? Sessions leaves as soon as he was asked to resign. I was stunned at how quickly it all happened. Then Whitaker takes over right away as acting AG.

Now, what has happened. POTUS removed the AG that he knew and had been on his campaign and placed someone there that he has had NO personal contact with at all. There you go. You want a clean investigation lead by someone completely nuetral, you got it.

The whole thing with Sessions was just to help insulate POTUS.
