Where do you think a deal was presented? The security council. Who are the two permanent members of the security council? Palestine and the Holy See Mission.
I've got more, but I don't want to spoil it all.
permanent observers it should read.
The Holy See also recognizes the State of Palestine, the only other non-UN member it recognizes besides Taiwan.
Lets talk about Taiwan. How does China Feel about Taiwan? Not very good right? What do you think the Deal was? Holy See stops recognizing taiwan and recognizes jerusalem instead. China likes this idea. The vatican does not.
The deal is bigger too. North Korea. China doesn't get a Taiwan for free.
Its VERY VERY important that the Holy See Mission recognizes Palestine. They are the only one. What happens to a country when no one recognizes you? Well, you're not really anything any more. Remember how Mr. Kerry was so worked up about holding out when he went to talk to palestine?
The Holy See has some spiritual problems with the Jewish Faith Taking over a particular site in Jerusalem. I'll tell more of the story if someone can tell me which one.
The Holy See has no relations of any kind with the following states:
Kingdom of Bhutan (see Catholic Church in Bhutan)
Republic of the Maldives (see Catholic Church in the Maldives)
People's Republic of China (see Catholic Church in China)
Democratic People's Republic of Korea (see Catholic Church in North Korea)
I don't think Bhutan is a player in this game of thrones. They didn't teach me much about Bhutan in catholic school.
