US To Stop Refueling Saudi Coalition Warplanes Bombing Yemen

The US military will no more fuel aircraft of the Saudi-led coalition bombing Yemen, the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said in a statement on November 10.

“The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the member countries of the Coalition to Support legitimacy in Yemen, continually pursue improvements to military professionalism and self-sufficiency. Recently the Kingdom and the Coalition has increased its capability to independently conduct inflight refueling in Yemen. As a result, in consultation with the United States, the Coalition has requested cessation of inflight refueling support for it’s operations in Yemen.

‏The Coalition Command expresses its hope that the upcoming UN sponsored negotiations in a third country, will lead to a negotiated settlement in accordance to UNSCR 2216 and see an end to the aggression by the Iranian backed Houthi militias’ against the Yemeni people and countries in the region, including the threat of ballistic missiles and UAVs.”

The SPA claimed that this was “requested” by the Saudi-led coalition itself. However, on November 9, Reuters reported citing unnamed US officials, that the US is considering to end the refueling of coalition aircraft in Yemen because oof both the coalition’s own increased capabilities and growing international outrage over the human consequences of the war in Yemen.

Actions of the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen is the main reason of the current acute humanitarian crisis in the country. Coalition warplanes have repeatedly bombed civilian infrastructure other targets, including wedding parties and school buses, sparking some criticism in mainstream media. The level of civilian casualties as a result of the coalition’s actions has not allowed maisntream media outlets to fully ingore this situation. However, the US has made repeated attempts to put blame on Iran for the current situation. The US and UK have both been criticized for selling arms to the coalition despite their targeting of civilians and carrying out war crimes.

Saudi-led Coalition Kills More Than 100 Houthis And Captures Key Positions Inside Al-Hudaydah (Map, Videos)

The Saudi-led coalition and its Yemeni proxies imposed control of the “May 22” Hospital and several other positions in the western part of the coastal city of al-Hudaydah following fierce clashes with the Houthis, the Emirates News Agency (ENA) reported in the late hours of November 9.

“The [Saudi-backed] Yemeni Joint Resistance forces took full control of new strategic areas in the Western parts of al-Hudaydah, in addition to the Yemen Mobile roundabout, the Red Sea silos and mills and the Faculty of Engineering, while continuing their advance towards As-Saleh city, in the Eastern part of al-Hudaydah,” ENA’s report reads.

Meanwhile, local sources informed the France-Press Agency (AFP) that more than 110 Houthi fighters and 22 Saudi-backed Yemeni fighters were killed in the last 24 hours as a result of the clashes around and inside al-Hudaydah.

The Houthis cut several supply routes of the Saudi-led coalition on the western Yemeni coast during the last few days. However, the coalition is still advancing in al-Hudaydah thanks to its aerial superiority. This situation may change when coalition forces reach the urban areas in the heart of the strategic city.

Yemen War Intensifies After Washington and London Call for Ceasefire

Brutal killing of Saudi columnist draws criticism of United States and British arming of Riyadh

Since March of 2015 the United States has engineered and guided a genocidal war against the people of Yemen.

Daily bombing operations by the Saudi Arabian-led Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has killed tens of thousands of people, injured and sickened hundreds of thousands more and created the worse humanitarian crisis in the world.

At present Yemen is facing famine due to the targeting of hospitals, schools and neighborhoods in an effort to break the will of the people to resist this military onslaught. The strategic port at Hodeida is a key element in the campaign waged by the Saudi-GCC coalition to starve the Yemini population into submission.

Nonetheless, the U.S. and British-backed forces are nowhere nearer to defeating the Ansurallah-led coalition which has seized huge swaths of territory in the north, central and southern regions of the country, the most underdeveloped and impoverished in the entire West Asia. A renewed battle launched by the Saudi-allied militias to take control of Hodeida has failed amid stiff resistance by the Popular Committees committed to defending this important outlet for essential goods flowing into the country.

Even after the call for a ceasefire by the administration of President Donald Trump and the British Prime Minister Theresa May, the attacks by the Saudi-GCC coalition have escalated. Such a course of action raises serious questions about the sincerity of the appeal for the resumption of United Nations brokered talks to end the horrendous war.

It should be reiterated that the warplanes, ordnances, refueling technology and diplomatic cover provided by Washington and London have been essential in the Saudi-GCC war against Yemen since 2015. Successive U.S. administrations and British governments continue to supply arms to the Saudi monarchy and its cohorts in the region.

The apparent premeditated killing of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi embassy in Turkey has highlighted the links between Washington and Riyadh. The response to the killing of Khashoggi by the Trump administration has been cautious and muted.

Perhaps in an effort to deflect attention away from the implicit guilt of Washington, the Trump administration called for a cessation of hostilities and the beginning of efforts to end the war which has regional implications. The political reasoning of the U.S. for their sponsoring of the genocidal onslaught in Yemen is based upon allegations that the Ansurallah movement is supported by the Islamic Republic of Iran.

This imperialist rationale is aimed at containing the influence of Tehran which is a major threat to the hegemony of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), both of whom are staunch participants in the broader designs for total western hegemony in the region. The inability to dislodge the Ansurallah and the Popular Committees exposes the obvious limitations of such an approach therefore emboldening resistance forces seeking a genuine independent and sovereign existence for the people of West Asia and beyond.

An article published by Press TV on November 7 based upon a speech delivered by Ansurallah leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi says:

“The US role in the military operations against our nation is pivotal. All fiendish plots against Yemen are hatched by the US, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Hallett says Hitler spent February to November 1912 being brainwashed and trained at the British Military Psych-Ops War School at Tavistock in Devon and in Ireland. "War machines need war and [that means they need] funded, trained and supported double agents to be their patsies, their puppets and their puppet enemies," Hallett writes (38).

His sister-in-law describes Hitler as completely wasted when he arrived at her Liverpool home baggage-less. "I had an idea he was ill, his color was so bad and his eyes looked so peculiar," she wrote. "He was always reading, not books, little pamphlets printed in German. Deportation Orders Hit Record High, Immigration Courts Clogged

If numbers are to be believed, the Trump administration is trying to keep its promise to deport illegal aliens, a report from Syracuse University says.

Syracuse University’s TRAC Immigration site has crunched the data from fiscal 2018 and shown that the administration has issued orders to deport nearly 300,000 border jumpers.

The report also details how many cases are piled up in immigration court waiting for the ax to fall and which states will lose the most illegals and what countries they come from.

Increase From Last Year

The data show that new deportation orders have increased about five percent from last year.

The number of deportation orders jumped from 274,133 to 287,741. And fiscal 2017 was better than 2016, when removal orders numbered 267,265.

The data also include the originating countries of those who received the orders. Tops on the list, not surprisingly, is Mexico, which accounted for 73,993, or 25.7 percent of the total.

Guatemala accounted for 64,045 orders, or 22.3 percent, with Honduras coming in third at 41,071, or 14.3 percent, and El Salvador fourth at 25,551, or 8.9 percent.

The top 10 states from which the immigrants will be deported are Texas (25,300), California (14,522), Florida (12,590), New York (8,824), Georgia (7,955), Louisiana (6,051), North Carolina (4,321), Arizona (4,140), Illinois (3,404), and Virginia (3,190).

The problem? The immigration courts are backed up with 1,098,468 cases, a 112.9 percent boost from 2017.

Fly Jamaica Jet Crash Lands At Guyana Airport Leaving 10 Injured

A Fly Jamaica flight headed to Toronto was forced to make a crash-landing at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport in Georgetown, Guyana. The crash landing occurred on November 9th, and the Boeing jet had 126 people aboard when it was forced to the ground injuring ten people, according to the transport minister.

The scene was described as "chaos" as the giant Boeing jetliner with 82 Canadians aboard crash-landed in Guyana's capital city of Georgetown. The commercial jet came to a screeching halt just before a steep embankment which could have caused far more injuries. The Transport Minister David Patterson said the jet was forced to make an emergency landing shortly after takeoff due to a hydraulic problem.

One passenger named Invor Bedessee described the scene as injured passengers were being offloaded from the flight. "Everyone was going crazy, screaming, crying for their lives, everything," Bedessee said. "There were (some people) injured because of coming down the slide or not getting off the flight fast enough, so the people behind them were kicking them. There was a lot of chaos."
