Once enough people, rightly or wrongly, use it as a signature, it becomes "anonymous" again ... just as if we all wore "Where's Waldo" shirts in an arena. After a while, it becomes well nigh impossible to distinguish one from another. This is the principle behind using encrypted e-mails. If only a few do it, the TLAs know which ones to focus on. Once all but a few are using encryption, the signal gets lost in the noise again.
