Burying The Other Russia Story: WSJ Editors Expose The House Democrats' Real Plan

With impeachment headlines rotating hourly from the Democrats' liberal media and subpoenas already flying across the aisle, The Wall Street Journal's Editorial Board seems to have decided some 'fair and balanced' perspective on what comes next is warranted and just how easy it will be for Adam Schiff to bury the 'real' Russiagate story…

Adam Schiff will shut down the probe that found FBI abuses.

Via The Wall Street Journal,

Arguably the most important power at stake in Tuesday’s election was Congressional oversight, and the most important change may be Adam Schiff at the House Intelligence Committee. The Democrat says his top priority is re-opening the Trump-Russia collusion probe, but more important may be his intention to stop investigating how the FBI and Justice Department abused their power in 2016. So let’s walk through what we’ve learned to date.

Credit for knowing anything at all goes to Intel Chairman Devin Nunes and more recently a joint investigation by Reps. Bob Goodlatte (Judiciary) and Trey Gowdy (Oversight). Over 18 months of reviewing tens of thousands of documents and interviewing every relevant witness, no Senate or House Committee has unearthed evidence that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to win the presidential election. If Special Counsel Robert Mueller has found more, he hasn’t made it public.

But House investigators have uncovered details of a Democratic scheme to prod the FBI to investigate the Trump campaign. We now know that the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee hired Fusion GPS, which hired an intelligence-gun-for-hire, Christopher Steele, to write a “dossier” on Donald Trump’s supposed links to Russia.

Mr. Steele fed that document to the FBI, even as he secretly alerted the media to the FBI probe that Team Clinton had helped to initiate. Fusion, the oppo-research firm, was also supplying its dossier info to senior Justice Department official Bruce Ohr, whose wife, Nellie, worked for Fusion.

Broward Sheriff Allowed Florida School Massacre Shooter to Register to Vote from Prison; Father of Murdered Girl Blows the Whistle

The Florida school shooter — who killed 17 people during a massacre in Broward County — is a newly registered voter — from prison.

And of course, a registered Republican.

Andrew Pollack lost his daughter meadow in the shooting and has become a voice for tightening school security throughout the country.

A distraught Pollack blew the whistle on Saturday, showing the school shooter was allowed to register to vote from prison by crooked Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel.

The address on the shooter’s voter registration is the Broward County Jail, according to the records Pollack provided.

“I’m sick to my stomach. 18-1958 murdered 17 students & staff, including my daughter Meadow. Yet in July, Broward Sheriff @ScottJIsrael let people into the jail to get him & other animals registered to vote. The Despicable Democrats have no shame. Can’t let them steal this election.” — Pollack.

Former FBI official says Mueller is ‘ready to indict some folks’

Former FBI official Frank Figliuzzi said he thinks special counsel Robert Mueller is “ready to indict some folks” with findings from his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Speaking to Brian Williams on MSNBC’s “11th Hour” Thursday night, Figliuzzi, who worked with Mueller at the FBI, laid out Mueller’s possible plan.

“I’m not saying he’s indicting the president. I’m saying there’s a middle ground where he tells us the story, locks it into the court system by indicting others, then files a report with [acting Attorney General Matthew] Whitaker,” he said.

The former assistant director for counterintelligence at the FBI said Mueller could use indictments to depict President Trump's possible wrongdoing.

“Perhaps what we’ll see is Bob Mueller telling us the story of a corrupt president through indictments,” Figliuzzi said.

Figliuzzi predicted that Mueller’s days could be numbered since Trump fired Attorney General Jeff Sessions and appointing acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker.

“I think the Whitaker appointment steps up the timeline, and I think perhaps if Mueller sticks to the strategy of telling us the story through indictments — the indictments speak to us — that he’ll speak to us soon, very soon, with additional indictments, perhaps that tell the story of a corrupt president,” he said.

The Justice Department said Whitaker will have oversight of Mueller’s investigation.

Whitaker has previously expressed that he felt Mueller’s investigation is going “too far” in an op-ed he penned for CNN.

“Mueller has come up to a red line in the Russia 2016 election-meddling investigation that he is dangerously close to crossing," Whitaker wrote, calling for Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to "limit the scope" of the investigation.

On Friday, President Trump said he has not spoken to Whitaker about the Russia investigation.
