IMO, you are stating things in a way that people are able to understand.
And if you are stating a lot of things that don't come true, normal people conclude from this that you re not a trustworthy person, that you are in short: a liar.
Why would I defend another person's unreliable statements?
Would your father teach you to trust a person, you never met? Or his plans, you don't know?
Would a decent person ever ask you to do this?
