French President Emmanuel Macron: ‘Nationalism is Treason’

French President Emmanuel Macron denounced nationalism during an Armistice Day centennial observance in Paris on Sunday.

“Patriotism is the exact opposite of nationalism: Nationalism is treason,” Macron said, according to a Euronews translator.

Macron spoke in front of world leaders including President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

“If we think our interests may only come first and we don’t care for others, it is a treason of our values, a betrayal of all moral values,” he said. “We must remember this.”

Macron said that the moral values of France helped them fight for the future of their country.

He praised the world leaders that formed the first League of Nations, after World War I.

“They imagined the first international corporation, the dismantling of empires, and redefined borders, and dreamed at the time of a union, a political union of Europe,” Macron said.

He lamented that the spirit of revenge and humiliation after World War I sparked renewed nationalism that led to World War II.

Macron defended organizations like the European Union and the United Nations, hailing their ideals despite their “setbacks” over the years. He called for a new era of science-built progress.

“Together we can rise to the challenges of poverty, global warming, disease, inequality, and ignorance,” he said. “And we can win this together, because victory is possible together, together we can break away from the countertruths and injustices, we can counter the extremes which would drive us to war.”

In an interview with CNN, Macron continued his condemnation of nationalism but was hesitant to claim the “globalist” label.

“I would say I’m a patriot,” he said, but added: “I’m not a believer in a sort of globalism without any differentiation. I think it doesn’t — it’s very inconsistent, and it’s extremely — it makes our people very nervous. But I’m not a nationalist, which is very different for me from being a patriot.”

‘World First’ – Scottish Schools to Have ‘LGBT Equality’ Embedded in Curriculum

The Scottish education system is to become the first in the world where primary and secondary schools are required in the curriculum to promote LGBT identity and lifestyles.

Every state school will have to “embed” lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex “equality and inclusion” within “all levels of the curriculum from early years to senior phase” after the Scottish Government accepted in full the recommendations of a working group headed by LGBT activists.

The move, which was backed by all parties, will see pupils taught about LGBT political history, movements, terminology, and identities as well as “LGBTI literature and lives” and topics on “addressing prejudice and homophobic, biphobic, and transphobic bullying”.

According to the report from the working group, which was led by Time for Inclusive Education (TIE), schools will also be required to include representations of sexual minorities “in ways which seek to deliver understanding and equality” throughout all teaching content.

With the Scottish Qualifications Authority set to develop course materials reflecting the new course content for national qualifications, pupils could be questioned on LGBTI topics during final exams, Herald Scotland reports.

Scottish education secretary John Swinney told the Scottish Parliament: “Scotland is already considered one of the most progressive countries in Europe for LGBTI equality. I am delighted to announce we will be the first country in the world to have LGBTI-inclusive education embedded within the curriculum.”

Stressing that the changes will apply to all Scottish state schools, with no opt-outs, the minister added: “I am aware that some may say that LGBTI inclusive education could undermine the values of their faiths or beliefs. I do not take this view.

“Human rights and the values of respect and tolerance are universal. Children and young people should feel happy, safe, respected and included in their learning environment, and all staff should be proactive in promoting positive relationships and behaviour in the playground, classroom, and society.”

But Simon Calvert, deputy director of the Christian Institute, said that while parents, pupils and teachers are united in wanting to see bullying stamped out, he argued they “don’t want to see controversial political agendas embedded across the curriculum”.

He said in a statement: “There are a diversity of beliefs about LGBT issues in Scotland. The approach adopted by the Scottish Government assumes there is only one acceptable view.

“What this means is that children from families who do not share this commitment to radical LGBT politics will be made to feel isolated in their schools.

“LGBT activists are often highly intolerant of traditional religious views and the people who hold them.”

Some groups have argued that the changes do not go far enough, however, with the National Secular Society (NSS) asserting that the organisation was “somewhat concerned by the lack of explicit mention of sex education [in] the recommendations.”

“We have found that it was not uncommon for Catholic schools to explicitly teach that homosexual acts are morally wrong or ‘disordered’,” NSS chief Stephen Evans wrote in a letter to Mr Swinney.

“We therefore seek your urgent assurance that the Scottish Government’s commitment to LGBTI-inclusive education will include a commitment to LGBTI-inclusive relationships and sex education, and that religious groups will in no way be allowed to impede the delivery.”

STUNNING! California Republicans Face More Losses as Late Votes for Democrats Continue to Trickle In #StopTheSteal

Republican candidates who led their races on election night continue to suffer losses as Democrats across the nation have been able to manufacture tens-of-thousands of new votes since election day.

Democrats stole races in Florida, New Mexico and California since election results were announced on Tuesday night.

Democrats have mysteriously found thousands of new votes in Georgia on Saturday after losing the governor’s seat on Tuesday.

And now several California Republican candidates who led their races by significant margins on election night days later are losing their seats as Democrats produce new votes several days later.

Dana Rohrabacher is the latest Republican to lose his race after Democrats discovered several thousand ballots after election day.

Several California Republicans who appeared to have held onto their congressional seats on Election Day saw their leads narrowed — or reversed — as late ballots continued to be counted, almost uniformly helping Democrats.

In the 10th congressional district, Democrat Josh Harder had taken a lead of over 3,000 votes over Republican incumbent Jeff Denham by Saturday evening. Denham led by a slim margin on Election Day.

In the 48th district, incumbent Republican Dana Rohrabacher saw a small Election Day lead reversed decisively, and the race was called for Democrat challenger Harley Rouda.

In the 39th and 45th districts, Republicans Young Kim and Rep. Mimi Walters narrowly clung to leads that had diminished to just over 2,000 votes in both cases, with many more ballots still to be counted.

And in the 50th district, which the Associated Press called for incumbent Republican Duncan Hunter, Democrat challenger Ammar Campa-Najjar has refused to concede, citing the possibility of late counted ballots giving him a win.

Once again, the Republican party elites got suckered and had no idea Democrats would be this crooked.

The party leaders should immediately resign for not anticipating this lawlessness by Democrats.

UPDATE: Broward County Finally Starts Midterm Recount 4 1/2 Hours Late (VIDEO)

ALL Florida counties met the latest deadline on Saturday at noon to turn over their election totals.

Governor Rick Scott leads Sen. Nelson by 12,562 votes after three days of Broward and Palm Beach County ballot manufacturing operations.

This is down from his 80,000 vote lead on election night.

Broward and Palm Beach counties have been manufacturing ballots since Tuesday night.

Already on Sunday morning Broward County officials were supposed to start their recount at 7 AM.

They were late getting started.

England’s New Top Prosecutor Criticised for Adopting Islamist Talking Points

England’s new chief prosecutor, Max Hill QC, has been criticised for appearing to adopt Islamist talking points.

In his former role as Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation, Mr Hill met with CAGE just one month after the Muslim group’s director Muhammad Rabbani was convicted of a terrorism offence, according to the Telegraph.

The Henry Jackson Society (HJS) criticised Hill for appearing to have “aped” the rhetoric of the group — which once described Islamic State executioner ‘Jihadi John’ as an “extremely gentle” and “beautiful” man — when he told Parliament that radical Islamic terrorism should be described as “Daesh-inspired” rather than “Islamist”, because it was “fundamentally wrong” to associate terrorism with “any of the world religions”.

The HJS noted that Hill also met with Muslim Engagement and Development (MEND), who have been described as “Islamists masquerading as civil libertarians”, and the Cordoba Foundation, which was branded a “political front for the Muslim Brotherhood” by former prime minister David Cameron.

“In the wake of negative publicity damaging the CPS, Max Hill has vowed that through his appointment [as Director of Public Prosecutions] he will ‘restore trust’. But it is difficult to see how this will be possible given his habit of meeting disproportionately with extremist and intolerant groups,” commented Emma Webb, a research fellow at the HJS.

“Meeting with such groups is bad enough, but his apparent aping of their divisive rhetoric is a step to far. Their fingerprints are all over his own positions.

“He has shown himself to have bad taste and judgement in the company he keeps. This is certainly not a man who can be trusted to ensure justice is done when it comes to Islamist extremism.”

A spokesman for the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) defended Hill’s association with the aforementioned groups, saying he remains committed to meeting “the need for consultation with the community, particularly Muslim communities, and awareness of the full range of what different organisations are bringing to the field, not just the government favoured ones”.

Mexico Captures Drug Trafficker from DEA’s Most Wanted List

Mexican authorities arrested a top ranking Sinaloa Cartel operator responsible for coordinating the flow of cocaine and cash to the U.S. from Colombia and Mexico. The drug lord had armed bodyguards with Mexican police credentials at the time of his arrest.

Mexican federal authorities confirmed the arrest of Angel Humberto “Don Angel” Chavez Gastelum and his son Alonso Jaime “Rito” Gastelum Salazar. The arrests came as the two had dinner at an upscale restaurant in the central Mexican state of Queretaro. Mexican military forces carried out the operation with intelligence information provided by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Breitbart News obtained access to after-action reports revealing that the Gastelum family had a squad of bodyguards with them who had forged documents to pass themselves off as law enforcement officials. Mexican authorities are expected to hold Gastelum until his extradition process is completed.

While the elder Gastelum claimed to be a businessman, he is wanted in the Central District Court of California on dozens of drug trafficking and conspiracy charges. He is also wanted for money laundering and murder, court documents revealed. Gastelum is linked to the Sinaloa Cartel but operated in a semi-independent fashion by establishing a low profile organization that operated largely under the radar. Gastelum is believed to have helped top Sinaloa Cartel bosses Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman and Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada launder millions. He has also been tied to Colombia’s Medellin Cartel.

According to the DEA, “Chavez-Gastelum’s drug distribution network controlled its own supply routes from Colombia to Central America, and from Mexico to the United States. Chavez-Gastelum’s criminal organization was also responsible for at least two killings, with one victim’s torture and dismemberment captured on a video that has been obtained by law enforcement authorities”.

Peggy compared the black community’s reaction to the shooting of Mansur Ball-Bey in North St. Louis outside a crack house with the shooting death of 9 year-old Jamyla Bolden in Ferguson. Jamyla was shot dead while studying on her bed. Peggy was outraged the liberal media made more out of the crackhead’s murder than that of the little girl. Peggy was called an Uncle Tom, Aunt Jemima, the White Man’s Bed Wench, and the White Man’s Black B*tch for speaking her mind.

on Tuesday Peggy volunteered as a poll watcher in St. Clair County. Peggy later tweeted out that she caught drunks, dementia patients and voters who did not reside in the city attempting to vote on election day.
