This morning I'm trying to focus down on what I posted last night (pic).

The following initial thoughts defining the scope of the problem (What is a map?) come to mind.

• Is the map a diagram of geography (map in the conventional sense)?

• Is the map a diagram of something else physical?

• Is the map a diagram of something NON-physical?

• Is the map a diagram of an abstraction? Say, a philosophical concept? A multidimensional construct? A set of relationships between various entities?

We don't even know what category of data the map deals with. Physical or abstract.

Need to orient the map in the correct direction. Think mirror?

Need to locate where we currently are on the map.

Need to decode the symbols found on the map and create a legend.

Only then can we use the map as a guide, following a sequence (ordered list) to get somewhere.
