For those like me who are not will informed about forest management and how it works between Federal and State resources. This article from August 2018 and some of the comments cleared it right up for me and now I get it. Trump is absolute right. These fires are going to cost taxpayers and insurance companies(who will raise rates on everyone after the fact) so much money and it is completely unfair.
Environmental/climate change proponents (deep pockets) and their corresponding ongoing litigation opposing the federal forest management of forests is the cause.
