What good is after-the-fact proof, in todays political and media environment?
Without being literally 'caught in the act' given things like deep fakes and already ingained biases, video and documentary evidence is nearly useless in the court of public opinion - and that's really what's going to be the main thing that matters. No better result comes from an after-the-fact proof and arrests as it's just as likely to cause bloodshed and civil war than an outright military coup, arrests and prosecution
What I'm suggesting is, in case it's unclear, it may be too late to arrest those for corruption if part of the goal is an awakening and avoidance of bloodshed.
