I think somewhere around June I saw an anon come up with a theory that Gowdy had to pull back and look fed up with the WH in order to draw attention away from himself and look neutral. Makes complete sense now.
I really hope he becomes AG, I think 85-90% of Trump supporters miss him and just want to see him pwn people in the courtroom again. He was really good at his job.
