We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Even as a Canadian I would pledge allegiance to these words if not for "happiness". Happiness is far too subjective and can be subjectively attained via abuses (encroachments) on OTHER people's RIGHT to LIFE and LIBERTY (such things as usury, abuse of power, abuse of sex (rape).

If "happiness" were amended to "peace", then the USA could become a world leader for LIFE and LIBERTY because IN REALITY there is a particular socio-political (global) entity which claims SOLE OWNERSHIP of the DEFINITION of "PEACE" (Islam). IN REALITY, there has been a global conflict (wars) involving ALL of the Abrahamic religions: Judaism/Christianity/Islam which has gone on for THOUSANDS of years.

The UN, being comprised of a mixture of the various INHERENTLY HOSTILE factions, can (has) never produced a SOLUTION to "PEACE".

As a Canadian, I would pledge the following:
