My understanding is that criminal sanctions would only apply if the candidate can be shown to have engaged in election fraud. I doubt that any of the candidates are not 100% insulated.

 

If, however, an election result is proven to have been obtained through fraud, a "successful" candidate can lose the office to which they were fraudulently elected. Elections are largely governed by state law, so ultimately it comes down to the specifics of Florida legislation/regulation and any time limits for certifying/contesting results that might apply.

IRL, I'm a big advocate for cooperative business ventures, but within the context of free market competition. Free market competition can take place irrespective of the form of ownership and participation. The enormous difference between this and socialism lies in the intervention of and control by government. Free people can organize themselves however they wish. Government takes those rights of self-determination away. Any form of voluntarism is a good thing, whatever it might look like in practice.
