OK, just putting this out there guys:

https:// news.usni.org/2016/03/11/u-s-official-north-korean-submarine-is-missing-presumed-sunk

A Nork sub went missing in early March, 2016.

Q posted "THe Hunt For_RED OCTOBER, then subsequently removed "The Hunt For".

In Tom Clancy's book, they deliberately pretended that RO was sunk so that the Russians would stop looking. If that sub is in USMI hands, they could weasel right up to NK's shore and launch missiles at their whim.

Possible?

Or possibility #2:

"โ€œAbout week ago it went missing and the speculation is that it sank,โ€ the official told USNI News.

โ€œThe North Koreans have not made an attempt to indicate there is something wrong or that they require help or some type of assistance.โ€

The Norks "pretended" that they lost the sub, so that WE wouldn't look. The sub was headed for North Americas to launch, but we sank it. No more "HUNT FOR".

OK, consider this:

The last time Q used "THE HUNT FOR" before "RED OCTOBER" was 11/20. I think they located the Nork sub and were tracking. Then, on October 22, Q posted:

" MISSILE. MISSLE. FOX THREE. SPLASH. AS THE WORLD TURNS. RED_OCTOBER>"

No more "The hunt for".

The Nork sub launched at Hawaii, the White Hats" "SPLASHED" the missile, then, having legitimate justification, they sank it.

>>3866In the same post where Q posted, "SPLASH", he started with:

"FLASH_BREAK_ /* /\ /* Shall we play a game?"

That last question specifically refers to the computer in 1983's "War Games". In that movie, they were desperately trying to avoid WWIII, which would have been caused by a Supercomputer.

By SPLASHING the missile(s), Q team avoided WWIII.

Also in the movie, the Computer asks "How About A nice game of chess" AFTER WWIII has been stopped and the CRISIS averted.
