If you have some type of magnetic or power source close to another system.. emf and other types interference can be induced into the other systems power and jack w it... reverse energy flows.. all kinds of gnarly shit. Especially if one of the lines was hit by weapon.. sure itwould send a fucked up surge to a transformer or another piece of eqipment and blow it sky high.. could start a fire that way too.. a weapon targeting the energy grids.
