I'm not the first to say this, but what I fear will happen is people, like me, who invested a lot of energy and hope - thinking it was a slow moving battle that required baby steps over a long period, will now feel used and dissillusioned.
Think of addiction, specifically withdrawal. It's bad enough to not have what you need, but then there's the rebound effect. Discomfort hits twice (if not more) harder. Whater Q accomplished, it's now going to give back. Too much collateral damage. Not good.
