Uhh. Yep. Quitting initially is really the hardest part… and then quitting again when you decide to get drunk again… and then learning you can always quit. Staying stopped drinking is hard, but realizing you can always sober up is painful but possible.

i dont do AA. I tried it years ago. they have some lessons that are valuable/true. but the only one I have found to be true, you can't drink normally again. I can't at least. I still get drunk sometimes, but it sucks bad coming down…. if you have a hard time coming down, just check in a detox that will lock you up for a week and give you some pills to help and ignore all their aa shit.
