You say… "Okay, and what if he is…. It's gotten us talking about this shit instead of tuning a blind eye and sleeping through it, hasn't it??" Or something to that effect… Some need lead to their own conclusion, not forced. They have to think it was their idea, if that makes sense.
He's not very bright, if he doesn't already realize this… or he has delusions of grandeur, thinks he's more important/valuable than he really is.
