>Cannabis and cancer

(neuropsychopharmfag here)

While there is a TON of biomedical research on THC and endocannabinoids, this DOES NOT mean they are "the CURE FOR EVERYTHING." In fact, some research suggest that endocannabinoids play an “unexpected role in governing pain-inhibitor neurons in the spine, and may even possibly increase the risk for turning short term, sharp pain, into more long term pain."

I am NOT suggesting that cannabis is not USEFUL or not THERAPEUTIC, medicinally or otherwise. In fact, CANNABIS PROHIBITION probably HELPS keep the whole fukking medical establishment and its BIG PHARMA edifice propped up.

How? Because it keeps everyone focused on the injustice of banning this one "miracle plant" while we remain BLIND to the many others (e.g. willow - SEE GRAPHIC) that we still have access to.

Also, consider that beta-Caryophyllene, the predominate terpene (30%) found in cannabis flowers is very active at CB2 receptors, while other cannabinoids like CBD are NOT. Thus, is it likely the case that a (((considerable portion))) of the therapeutic benefits (anti-inflammatory) of cannabis in the treatment of pain have little to do with THC or CBD and are mediated by a bioactive terpene that is found in many other LEGAL plants. YOU CAN BUY beta-Caryophyllene ON AMAZON LEGALLY AND IT IS VERY EFFECTIVE.

LETS END CANNABIS PROHIBITION FOR THE MOST IMPORTANT REASON - THE RESTORATION OF PERSONAL LIBERTY

The other REASONS are also important, but SECONDARY (i.e. to end the corporate prison industrial complex and its unfair oppression of nonviolent minorities (poor whites included), for HEMP farming, and for medicinal purposes).

BUT, IF WE CONTINUE TO USE MEDICAL MARIJUANA AS OUR PREDOMINATE ARGUMENT TO END ITS PROHIBITION, WE WILL LOSE!

BTW, if you want to increase your levels of endocannanoids NOW LEGALLY, just take Tylenol (acetaminophen) as one of its metabolites is an endocannabinoid re-uptake inhibitor. However, RESEARCH has shown that it will turn short term, sharp pain, into more chronic pain and BIG PHARMA loves that.

NOTE: I also don't recommend taking acetaminophen because other metabolites are toxic to both the liver and the brain by depleting intracellular glutathione. AND NEVER take acetaminophen COMBINED with OPIATES because opiates block the cellular uptake of cysteine, which is necessary for glutathione production. Thus, drugs like Vicodin are pharmacological gulags. If you are currently dependent on opiates, take N-acetyl-cysteine (1,200 mg/day), which by passes the opiate block on cellular uptake. This will restore depleted glutathione levels and help you get off these drugs.
