POTUS has been blaming CA because the forests are not cleaned up. Last I checked, it was the U.S. Forest Service, NOT the CA Forest Service. Plus, a lot of our forests are in national parks, not state parks. So this may not be so much of a CA thing.
The signs I generally see in CA put the forests into federal responsibility. So I suppose the maps need to be checked to see whose forests are the ones burning.
