Netanyahu: Israel ‘Shielding’ Europe from Islamic Terror

TEL AVIV – Israel is “shielding” Europe from Middle Eastern terrorism, and European nations should show more gratitude and less “hostility” to the Jewish state, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday in Paris.

“Israel is Europe’s shield in the Middle East [from terrorism], and without us it would spread and many more people would push into Europe,” said Netanyahu to reporters at the sidelines of an event marking 100 years since World War I. “When we protect ourselves, we are also protecting Europe.”

“We certainly have criticism of the one-sided and hostile approach of the European Union to Israel,” said the prime minister, pointing to the European body’s funding for human rights groups that document alleged abuses by Israeli soldiers.

Israeli intelligence sharing and terror training with European nations have helped thwart scores of terror attacks in recent years, including an attack planned for a Paris suburb, aviation attacks on European cities and the hijacking of planes, and last month’s plot by Tehran to assassinate three Iranian opposition figures on Danish soil.

Netanyahu also said that diplomacy was futile with Hamas terror leaders in the Gaza Strip.

“There is no diplomatic solution for Gaza, just as there is no diplomatic solution for ISIS,” said Netanyahu.

“I am doing everything I can to avoid an unnecessary war,” said the prime minister, pointing to the deaths of millions during World War I as an example of senseless bloody warfare. “I am not afraid of war if it’s necessary, but I want to avoid it if it’s not necessary.”

However, mere hours after his comments, intense clashes broke out between Israeli forces and fighters in the Gaza Strip, forcing him to cut his trip short and return to Israel. Rockets were fired into Israel from the coastal enclave, in apparent retribution for the killing of a senior Hamas commander and six other Palestinian terrorists.

One of the commandos, an Israeli soldier identified only as Lt. Col. M, was killed during the operation.

CNN Commentator: 'Fox News Jerks The President Off Every Single Day'

CNN political commentator Tara Setmayer said on a recent podcast that Fox News "jerks the President off every day," engaging in "political masturbation."

NewsBusters' Curtis Houck reports that Setmayer made the comments on her October 30 podcast:

The podcast was taped during the liberal media-wide campaign to blame the mail bombs and Pittsburgh synagogue shooting on anyone and everyone who wasn’t a left-of-center, so Setmayer first lashed out just past the 15-minute mark, condemning the President’s insistence that the media have been to blame for the state of discourse (which polling suggested he’s right).

"He’s doubled and tripled down on blaming the media, tweeting that we are the enemy of the people. That is just so inappropriate and, you know, he won’t take any responsibility. None," Setmayer said. "I mean, with words that have come out of his mouth and what he said at rallies and the environment he’s fomented and what these — these evil people have decided to now carry out into action."

"But the part that bothered me the most about this is that so many people are just not acknowledging where Trump has some influence on this," Setmayer continued. "Did he send the bombs? Did he make the guy send the bombs? No he didn’t. Has his tone and repeated attacked on the media and repeated attacks on his political opponents set a — set a tone? Yeah, it has and he was still attacking people."

Setmayer later suggested that Fox News was responsible for the man who shot up the Pittsburgh synagogue last month.

"So, like I said, this [the shooter], this perpetrator in the synagogue massacre, he’s a self-proclaimed Nazi, hates Jews and he — he said that the caravan that was, you know, one of the things and I’m gonna — you know, he yelled out “I’m going to kill Jews and he was shooting, according to reports, he also talked about the caravan, about people coming in and invading the country and killing his people," Setmayer said. "Where do you think he got that language from? That comes right out of the President’s mouth and on Fox freaking News all damn day, especially at night on the opinion shows. Where is their responsibility?"

"But the point of that is to reiterating [sic] right of the free press and the role. It’s not to be a lapdog to the President of the United States," Setmayer continued. "It’s not to make the President, you know, feel good about himself like Fox News does, okay. Fox News jerks the President off every single day. It is political masturbation on that channel. That’s right. I said it."

"We do not go out there and deliberately lie," Setmayer claimed. "That’s not what we do. That’s not what responsible journalists do. Do we get it wrong sometimes? Yes. Are we the enemy of the people? No. Are we generating fake news on purpose? No."

False Reports In U.S. Media Suggest A Great Deception

The New York Times is lying to its readers about the commitments of an adversarial state. It did not learn a single lesson from its fake reporting that led the Iraq War. It again furthers hostile aggression.

In a piece published today, In North Korea, Missile Bases Suggest a Great Deception, the paper lies about North Korea's commitments:

North Korea is moving ahead with its ballistic missile program at 16 hidden bases that have been identified in new commercial satellite images, a network long known to American intelligence agencies but left undiscussed as President Trump claims to have neutralized the North’s nuclear threat.

The satellite images suggest that the North has been engaged in a great deception: It has offered to dismantle a major launching site — a step it began, then halted — while continuing to make improvements at more than a dozen others that would bolster launches of conventional and nuclear warheads.

There is no North Korean deception. It agreed to dismantle a missile test site, not an operative "launching site", and it agreed to a moratorium of nuclear and missile testing. Nowhere has it made any commitment to stop productions or deployments of missiles.

The Singapore Declaration Kim Jong-un and Donald Trump signed says nothing about ballistic missiles. It agrees on four step to be taken in sequence: 1. establish new US-DPRK relations, 2. build a lasting and stable peace regime in all of Korea, 3. support of the Panmunjom Declaration between North and South Korea, 4. North Korea commits "to work toward complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula".

There is no public or secret commitment by North Korea to stop its production of ballistic missiles just as there is not commitment by the United States to stop its continuing arms buildup.

There is in fact the opposite. North Korea openly said multiple times that it would increase its ballistic missile capacity. In May 2017 Chairman Kim Jong-un ordered to start mass production of the medium range Pukguksong-2 (Poseidon-2) missile:

[The KCNA state news agency] quoted Kim as saying the Pukguksong-2 met all the required technical specifications so should now be mass-produced and deployed to the Korean People's Army strategic battle unit.

In August 2017 he ordered to increase the production of solid fuel missiles.

Kim visited the North Korean Chemical Material Institute of the Academy of Defence Science recently, according to a statement from the government-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

“He instructed the institute to produce more solid-fuel rocket engines and rocket warhead tips by further expanding engine production process and the production capacity of rocket warhead tips and engine jets by carbon/carbon compound material,” the statement read.

Shocker: 1,282 out of 1,762 New Votes That Magically Appeared This Weekend in Georgia Went to Stacey Abrams

The Georgia Democrat Party announced on SATURDAY that a handful of Georgia counties have suddenly discovered THOUSANDS of new votes that need to be counted. The Georgia Democrats say the new stash included absentee, early and election day votes.

Democrats in Georgia mysteriously discovered 5,569 votes of which 4,804 were for Stacey Adams.

They are going to steal the Georgia election too.

On Monday the Georgia Democrat Party announced that another 1,282 out of 1,762 votes went to Stacey Abrams on Monday.

They are slowing chipping away at Brian Kemp’s win.

And this will continue until the law steps in and shuts down this election fraud.

Earlier today Stacey Abrams filed a lawsuit to delay vote certifications until Democrats manufacture enough new votes.

The Democrats stole the Arizona Senate race and they’re trying to steal both top ticket races in Florida while the Republicans sit back and allow the lawlessness to continue.

A vigil held by pro-Israel activists in London for Jews murdered in Arab countries was dispersed after men shouted in Arabic about killing Jews.

The event by the Israel Advocacy Movement was held Wednesday on Speaker’s Corner in Hyde Park, which is known for its culture of free speech and passionate street preachers championing various causes.

A few dozen people holding Israeli flags and candles gathered there ahead of Kristallnacht, the 1938 Nazi pogrom in Germany and Austria, to highlight the suffering and slaying around the same time of many hundreds of Jews who were killed and wounded in pogroms across the Arab world.

Joseph Cohen, an Israel Advocacy Movement activist, filmed the event as about 20 men drowned his talk shouting “Jews, remember Khaybar, the army of Muhammad is returning.”

The cry relates to an event in the seventh century when Muslims massacred and expelled Jews from the town of Khaybar, located in modern-day Saudi Arabia. Some of the men shouted about “Palestine,” surrounding the pro-Jewish activists and shoving them.
