So did we ever come to a consensus on the "boomerang suicide"?

Anon suggested the other night that maybe it it had to do with Google Boomerang the Gmail/Outlook addon that allows you to schedule emails to be sent in the future. It also allows users to set parameters to auto delete emails by sender/keyword/passage of time.

The boomerang addon has its own servers and to operate requires access to your Gmail account. It does this through the oauth 2 protocol.

Codefags please excuse my ignorance, but isn't this a major vulnerability? Is it possible that this addon was installed by members of the cabal and then exploited by Qteam to access and archive all of their comms?
