WV loss of Senate seat lies solely with RNC.
The RNC weren't doing their job & paying attention to the primaries in WV.
Morrisey lost. No big deal. It's the same outcome as now.
Nick Joe Rahall, "Good Ole Boy".
Rahall was in the House of Representatives from 1977 - 2015.
Rahall was defeated by Evan Jenkins in 2016
Unless you live in WV you would not appreciate what a MOAB that was.
Rahall had everyone in his pocket; Unions, Judges, Manchin - everyone.
Jenkins resigned the House to run for Senate.
Problem was a fat ass corrupt, non-likable person by most in WV, Patrick Morrisey decided to challenge Jenkins. Morrisey is an attorney from New Jersey.
Morrisey was an attorney for Big Pharma & his wife lobbyist for Big Pharma.
Manchin daughter is CEO of Mylan Pharmaceutical.
They cancel each other out in the pharma aspect & Morrisey is from out of state.
DNC poured tons of money into our primary to elect Morrisey & defeat Jenkins - it worked.
Low turnout for the primary.
Still can't figure out how Jenkins lost the primary, that's for another day
Morrisey is an awful candidate.
Manchin can easily defeat him
Manchin would never have defeated Jenkins.
RNC weren't paying attention to primaries & the DNC was. End of story.
RNC must pay attention to this stuff.
I held my nose & voted Morrisey, hoping he may help Trump.
I know many, many people who support Trump but would not pull that lever for Morrisey.
