Mira Radielovic Ricardel, previously known as Mira Baratta (born July 5, 1960),[1] is an American government official. She is currently serving as Deputy National Security Advisor to U.S. President Donald Trump, since May 2018.[2] Earlier in the Trump administrationshe served as a Special Assistant to the President and Associate Director in the Office of Presidential Personnel,[3] and then Under Secretary of Commerce for Export Administration. Earlier in her career she served as a foreign policy advisor to U.S. Senator Bob Dole and held higher-level positions in the U.S. Department of Defenseduring the Presidency of George W. Bush. On April 23, 2018, new U.S. National Security Advisor John R. Bolton named her as his incoming deputy. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.[4]
