WATCH: Arizona Democratic Senate Candidate Kyrsten Sinema Fought To Protect Criminals Caught With Child Prostitutes, Took Major Money From Founders Of Sex Trafficking Website

Arizona Democratic Senate candidate Kyrsten Sinema fought to protect criminals who had sex with child prostitutes and later took tens of thousands of dollars from the founders of an alleged sex trafficking website.

The revelation of Sinema's disturbing views was made in an ad targeting her that recently aired which showed her downplaying the seriousness of child prostitution because, according to her, "some of these children look older than me."

Local Arizona media fact-checked the ad and found that it was true and also found that Sinema’s defense of her voting record was misleading.

"What [Sinema's campaign is] saying is that she ended up voting for this bill. Which is true … however, it was written in a way that allowed that defense," CBS 5 Political Editor Dennis Welch said during the fact check. "To say 'Look, Judge, I didn’t know that they were under 18.' If you could show there was no way that you could possibly know they were under 18, you could use that argument. So she had voted for that, after that provision was taken out."

Even worse, it appears that Sinema still does not want to crack down harder on criminals who use child prostitutes as her campaign's statement was "vaguely worded and you can’t really tell whether or not she changed her mind," Welch added.

Sinema took nearly $34,000 from prominent Democratic donor Ed Buck, "who has come under scrutiny after a male escort died of a drug overdose at his California home last year," AZ Central reported.

Sinema also took over $53,000 from people connected to Backpage, a website that was recently shut down by the U.S. government for its alleged role in helping to facilitate sex trafficking.

Malaysian Prime Minister Fumes "Obviously We Have Been Cheated By Goldman Sachs"

Goldman Sachs famously avoided liability after the Libyan Investment Authority accused the bank of squandering more than $1.5 billion belonging to the country's sovereign wealth fund after the bank plied employees of the fund with "hookers and five-star hotels" before losing all of their money in complex derivatives trades. But as the DOJ ramps up an investigation into the bank's role in the sprawling 1MDB scandal (the federal government believes Goldman helped now-jailed former Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak siphon $4.5 billion from the fund), it's looking like the bank (and possibly its ex-CEO Lloyd Blankfein, whose involvement in the scandal was recently revealed by Bloomberg) may not escape culpability this time.

Yesterday, Goldman shares cemented their largest two-day drop since 2010, crashing to a two-year low after Malaysian Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng demanded a "full refund" of the $600 million in fees that Goldman charged Malaysia for the three 1MDB bond offerings underwritten by the bank. Eng also demanded that Goldman repay the "interest-rate differential" that Malaysia paid, which was 100 basis points over the benchmark rate. Goldman has argued that it demanded such high fees because it took many of the unrated bonds on to its balance sheet, increasing its exposure, because Malaysia said it wanted the money "right away" for "development projects". Of course, Goldman had sold the local currency bonds long before 1MDB defaulted in April 2016.

And on Tuesday, Malaysia turned up the heat when the country's 93-year-old Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad accused Goldman bankers during an interview with CNBC of "cheating" Malaysia (though he also said the country wanted to "see the results" of the DOJ's investigation).

"There is evidence that Goldman Sachs has done things that are wrong," Mahathir said.

"Obviously we have been cheated through the compliance by Goldman Sachs people," he said, without specifying details.

The bank’s compliance controls "don’t work very well," he added.

A Goldman spokesman in Asia declined to comment on Mahathir's comments.

Meanwhile, Mahathir's appointed successor Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim told the Malaysian parliament that it needed to take "more aggressive measures" to reclaim the fees and losses "due to the effects on Malaysia’s image".

Senior Afghan Diplomat: US Must Withdraw Troops from Afghanistan Responsibly

Last week, Moscow hosted talks between Afghan government officials and Taliban representatives. The talks on Afghanistan were held behind closed doors last Friday. The head of the Afghan government delegation, Rasool Eslamee, in an exclusive interview with Sputnik, spoke about the significance of these talks for the peace process.

Sputnik: How do you assess the initiative of Moscow? What are the results of the meeting within the framework of the Moscow format consultations on Afghanistan? What are the impressions of the participating countries at the end of the conference? Will there be more meetings like this?

Rasool Eslamee: The Moscow format is very important since Russia invited the Taliban. This conference was attended by both the Taliban and the Afghanistan High Peace Council. A very important issue that was raised at the conference is the start of bilateral negotiations between the two groups. For the first time, there's an opportunity to begin a dialogue between the two sides.

The most important result of the Moscow format is the possibility in the future to reach common points of agreement between the Taliban and the High Peace Council. All participants of the Moscow format were satisfied with the results of the meeting, so it was decided to organize another conference in the near future. Before the conference, the participating countries will offer their ideas so that the future meeting will be effective.

Sputnik: Are you ready to engage in the negotiation process, including with representatives of the Taliban?

Rasool Eslamee: We usually participate in all the activities that are organized with the aim of establishing peace in Afghanistan. We always tried to help, both in deed and in advice, so that the meetings end positively. We also supported this proposal (the launch of a direct dialogue) and will support it. Even if there are any differences and contradictions, they will be resolved through negotiations. If there are no negotiations, the contradictions will remain unresolved, and peace will not be achieved. That is why we were also in favour of bilateral negotiations in order to resolve all differences.

UN Migration Pact encourages millions of migrants to come and claim benefits – German AfD leader

The co-leader of opposition party Alternative for Germany (AfD) has lashed out at the German government and their stance on the UN Global Compact on Migration. He said his party he urges the government not to sign the document as it isn’t in the interest of the German people.

“If this Global Compact is just a political declaration, which has no consequences for the national parliaments and the law then why are we seeing resistance from everywhere on the rise against it, all of a sudden?” Gauland says.

According to the AfD leader, “The interests of the receiving society are left completely unmentioned” and “the document will supersede national law”.

“We pledge to fulfil the goals mentioned in the global pact and obligations in accordance to our vision and our guiding principles”, it is so written there. The wording alone “we pledge” appears dozens of times in the paper, Gauland continues.

He adds that the document can lead to migrants being encouraged to come and claim benefits as a human right.

“For example we pledge, that all migrants notwithstanding their migration status are able to exercise their human rights through a safe entry to standard benefits. Less sensitive people call this migration into the social benefits systems.

“So the Federal Government wants to pledge itself to this. But of course non-binding. Non-binding obligations. Dear ladies and gentlemen, wooden steal. Dear ladies and gentlemen on the government bench: How stupid do you actually think we all are and your voters out there?”

Later Gauland says the migration pact will undermine sovereignty and lead to a renewed influx of migrants:

“The milestone this pact talks about lies in the way of the betrayal of sovereignty of our nation. Millions of people from crisis regions are encouraged to hit the trail.

“Left dreamers and globalist elites want to secretly transform our country from a national state into a settlement region.

Resolution to Stop Cold Genocide Starts Conversation in America’s Largest Medical Association

WASHINGTON-A resolution aimed at preventing organ transplant operations from becoming “a profitable tool in a cold Genocide” was presented at the 2018 American Medical Association (AMA) Interim Meeting in Washington on Nov. 11.

Supporters hope that the medical profession can follow the example of the U.S. Congress, which has passed a resolution calling for a stop to forced organ harvesting from prisoners of conscience.

The resolution was submitted to the AMA by the Medical Society of the District of Columbia. It resolves that:

  1. Transplant surgeons, especially those who come to the United States for training in transplant surgery must agree to AMA’s Ethical Guidelines, that American medical and hospital institutions not be complicit in any ethical violations or conflicts of interest;

  2. AMA representatives to the World Medical Association (WMA) request an independent, interdisciplinary, transparent investigation into the Chinese practices of organ transplantation.

  3. AMA calls upon the U.S. Government to protect the large number of transplant tourists by implementing legislation to regulate the evolving, ethical challenges by initiating a Reciprocal Transplant Transparency Act which would blacklist countries that do not meet the same transparency and ethical standards practiced in the U.S.
