One of our nuke subs is tracking ([THE HUNT FOR_) the rogue Nork/Argentinian sub, waiting for it to fire, and updating NORAD(or whoever) of its coordinates. The sub launches a nuke at HI, fighters scramble and SPLASH the missile, then, now having complete justification, sink the rogue sub.
No more "hunt for", RED OCTOBER is SUNK.
