I don't understand why they think that announcing presidential candidacy will insulate them from being arrested. If that were the case, then I could just run for Sheriff, go commit a bunch of crimes in his jurisdiction, get arrested, and say "Hey, the Sheriff is fucking with the election 2 years from now by arresting me and making me look bad."
