Shanghai’s jailed top prosecutor ‘implicates 100 other officials in corruption case’

The former chief prosecutor of Shanghai who is serving a life sentence for bribery has implicated about 100 officials linked to his conviction, a source familiar with the case has told the South China Morning Post.

Once dubbed the “law manipulator of Shanghai”, Chen Xu was sentenced on October 25 after a court in Nanning, the capital of south China’s Guangxi region, found him guilty of taking money and property worth more than 74.2 million yuan (US$10.7 million) personally or through family members between 2000 and 2015.

His downfall came amid a crackdown on corruption by the Chinese leadership and many of those implicated by him are now under investigation.

Red Flag Gun Laws: Yet Another Government Weapon for Compliance and Control

“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”—George Santayana

We never learn.

In the right (or wrong) hands, benevolent plans can easily be put to malevolent purposes.

Even the most well-intentioned government law or program can be—and has been—perverted, corrupted and used to advance illegitimate purposes once profit and power are added to the equation.

The war on terror, the war on drugs, the war on illegal immigration, asset forfeiture schemes, road safety schemes, school safety schemes, eminent domain: all of these programs started out as legitimate responses to pressing concerns and have since become weapons of compliance and control in the police state’s hands.

Mark my words: red flag gun laws, which allow the police to remove guns from people suspected of being threats, will only add to the government’s power.

These laws, growing in popularity as a legislative means by which to seize guns from individuals viewed as a danger to themselves or others, are yet another Trojan Horse, a stealth maneuver by the police state to gain greater power over an unsuspecting and largely gullible populace.

So this is why McSally refuses to challenge Arizona voter fraud…

I was a bit surprised that Martha McSally was so quick to concede the Senate race to crazy communist Kyrsten Sinema. McSally had a substantial lead over the communist on election night and the voting patterns didn’t match. Doug Ducey, the Republican governor got over 300,000 more votes than McSally in Maricopa County? Then the reason became more clear. McSally has a backroom deal with both Sinema and Doug Ducey. Jon Kyl, who is filling John McCain’s vacant Senate senate is reportedly going to retire at the start of 2019. Guess who Ducey is planning on picking to replace Kyl? That’s right, Martha McSally. Even Arizona’s left wing propaganda newspaper is suggesting that McSally replace Kyl:

Only three recounts out of twenty six have been successful over past two decades

Only three recounts out of twentysix over the past two decades have been successful. Amazingly, in each of the three successful cases, the Democrat has managed to win ALL three of those races. You probably remember the games pulled by the Democrats in 2008 when clown Al Franken won after a bunch of ballots were discovered in the back of a car. But there were two others in the last decade that don’t get as much attention.

Republica Dino Rossi lead on election night by 261 votes. After a statewide recount was conducted on November 24, 2004 Rossi still had a lead, but it had shrunk to just 42 votes.

Then in December of 2004, a batch of ballots from far left King County (Seattle) were magically discovered. Those ballots went 2-1 in favor of the Democrat. As is typical, Republicans cowered at a fight with Democrats and Washington’s Secretary of State declared the Democrat the winner of the governorship by just 129 votes. This after Rossi lead by over 200 after all ballots were assumed counted on election night. Democrats stole this election and Washington hasn’t had a Republican governor since.
