Hans von Spakovsky, senior fellow at the Heritage Foundation and manager of its Election Law Reform Initiative, said Democrats “want non-citizens voting” because “they know it will help them win elections,” offering his remarks in a Monday interview with Breitbart Senior Editors-at-Large Rebecca Mansour and Joel Pollak on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight.

Von Spakovsky explained the “voter suppression” narrative pushed by Democrats and leftists, saying, “That is a deliberate policy that’s been created by the left. The term ‘voter suppression,’ which you constantly hear now, that is a myth.”

That is something that has been created by the left,” added von Spakovsky. “Why? In order to prevent any kind of reform measures that would fix the vulnerabilities in our system and cause us to clean up the voter rolls; to take off the felons and the non-citizens, for example, who are on the rolls in Broward County.”

Five Famous Examples of Democrat Recount Boondoggles

1. Hanging Chads and Ballot Seances: The indelible image of the Florida recount was election officials staring at questionable punch-card ballots and attempting to “discern the intent” of the voters. The idea was that voters who didn’t properly punch out a vote for president must have been the victims of stubborn paper, malfunctioning punch machines, or confusing instructions.

1. Disqualified absentee ballots: The 2000 election in Florida was marked by complaints from absentee voters that their votes were suppressed by incorrectly marking them as received too late to be counted.

Republican Losses Deepen in California as Josh Harder Takes CA-10

California Republicans lost another seat on Tuesday evening, as Democrat Josh Harder defeated incumbent Republican Jeff Denham in the 10th congressional district as ballots continued to be counted across the state.

Harder, a venture capitalist with no political experience, used a massive avalanche of Silicon Valley cash and legions of San Francisco Bay Area volunteers to flood the Central Valley district, historically a Republican seat.

Denham provoked the ire of conservatives by favoring liberal immigration policies, leading an effort to file a “discharge petition” that would bypass House leadership and force a floor vote on liberal immigration laws.

But he rallied the party in the closing months of the campaign around the issue of water, where he led opposition to the state’s proposed “Bay-Delta plan,” which would divert water from farms to boost dwindling fish populations.

Illegal Alien Accused of Killing Three Was a DACA Recipient

An illegal alien accused of killing three people has been a recipient of the Obama-era Deferred Action for Child Arrivals (DACA) program, immigration officials say.

A U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) spokesperson told the Springfield News-Leader that Luis Rodrigo Perez, 23, a Mexican national accused of killing three people in Missouri after jail officials released him on domestic violence charges in New Jersey, was a recipient of the DACA program in 2012 and 2014.

It is unclear whether he was no longer eligible or did not re-apply for the program in 2016. Illegal aliens who came to the U.S. as children can qualify for DACA, but felony or significant misdemeanor convictions are grounds for disqualification from the program.

ICE spokesperson Shawn Neudauer said before Perez was accused of murder, he was arrested in Middlesex County in December 2017 on suspicion of aggravated assault, assault, and child abuse.

The state and federal law enforcement database showed these charges as “still pending,” according to Neudauer.

Donald Trump’s Caravan Asylum Reforms Get Court Hearing Nov. 19

The lawsuit by pro-migration, pro-caravan groups against President Donald Trump’s border policy will get a hearing on November 19 in a San Francisco courtroom.

The judge is expected to freeze Trump’s pro-American reform and allow the growing number of caravans and asylum-seeking economic migrants to ask for asylum, get released, take jobs and force down average wages for blue-collar Americans.

The Trump policy has been operating since Saturday.

It allows migrants who arrive at the ports of entry to apply for full asylum. But the policy penalizes illegal migrants by preventing them from applying for a full asylum once they are caught sneaking over the border.

Illegal migrants are still allowed to apply for a limited asylum, dubbed “withholding of removal.” That policy prevents illegals from using the asylum system to get released to find jobs, it eases their deportation and pressures them to go home without earning enough money to pay off their smuggling debts to the cartels.

The lawsuit will be heard by an English-born judge, Jon S. Tigar. He was appointed by former President Barack Obama in 2012 to a seat on the very progressive, migrant-friendly Ninth Circuit. He is widely expected to direct border officials to freeze the border policy, by imposing a nationwide Temporary Restraining Order.
