If the Brexit deal is really as bad as it looks, would there be any profit either way if the USA unilaterally suspended the relevant sections of the Declaration of Independence?

 

Would that rescue the UK, or mean that the USA legally became a vassal of the EU as well?

Say if the Brits reject the vassal-deal and go for WTO rules, then at 1 minute past midnight on March 29, 2019 the USA could provide a harbor by some kind of temporary suspension of Independence while things are sorted out.

 

Wouldn't that be more profitable than a top ally disappearing into the dust?
