Can we change the system in some way so that "found 8,000 votes in a Warehouse" becomes an impossibility?
It seems that there is way too much in the way of early voting and absentee voting, and parties these days, even the GOP, seem to enourage people to get ballots out there early. Those early ballots, it appears, might find their way to Warehouses, where anything could happen to them. Someone, by themselves, could be tampering with those ballots. They clearly could be forgotten about. Or they can be entirely fictional.
I like the idea of none of that absentee balloting stuff unless there's a real reason for it, and making election day a holiday. I like voter id and purple finger. Paper ballots. I like putting a paper ballot in a box on election day. That seems like the best way to get your ballot somewhere where they will count it, and can't lose it or tamper with it.
Didn't we hear that there were many, many GOP advantages in early voting? Wouldn't these GOP early votes be the types of votes that could get lost in a warehouse?
