Actually, self-defense AFTER a physical attack IS a valid defense, anon. The burden, however, is ALWAYS on the husband male and the woman pretty much has to look and act close to insane in the front of witnesses and to the LEOs taking her statement. An admission by the female complainant is always helpful. However, the degree of force used by the husband/male often has to be just enough to subdue the attacking wife/female unless she is armed with some type of lethal weapon or very sharp, clawing fingernails which have left a trail on the husbands face. A close- fisted punch to the face will be deemed excessive if the male/husband could otherwise subdue a smaller, unarmed, non-martial arts/MAA trained, non-otherwise crazed woman hopped up on meth or PCP. CPL is going to end up looking like a pussy here as I'm sure he used excessive force, the feckin wife beater! He's definitely not the type to keep his cool after being slapped by any woman. He would, however, be pissing his pants if confronted by a high beta and definitely an alpha male. BHWAHAHAHAHA !!!!
