Legacy of Nancy Pelosi’s political home base called literally deadly

The San Francisco in which Rep. Nancy Pelosi “came of age politically also differed greatly from the one that instinctively re-elects her every two years,” a columnist noted. Pelosi “represents a geographically tiny district – the nation’s smallest outside of Manhattan – that ranks as one of the most politically homogenous in the nation,” Daniel J. Flynn wrote for The American Spectator Nov. 9. Pelosi “can represent her constituents or speak for her colleagues. She cannot do both. This poses problems for the sustainability of the Democratic House majority,” Flynn wrote.

In the 1970s, Flynn chronicled in his book “Cult City: Jim Jones, Harvey Milk, and 10 Days That Shook San Francisco”, how Bay Area figures entered politics at their own risk. “The Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA), with its not-so-catchy catchphrase ‘Death to the fascist insect that preys upon the life of the people,’ ” assassinated Oakland superintendent of schools Marcus Foster on Election Day in 1973,”Flynn noted. “Two months later, the Zebra Killers severely wounded future San Francisco Mayor Art Agnos, then a member of the California Commission on Aging, by shooting him twice in the chest.”

Flynn continued: “In 1975, the New World Liberation Front (NWLF) placed a bomb on a windowsill outside of San Francisco supervisor Dianne Feinstein’s daughter’s bedroom. The group shot out windows of her vacation property later that year. Several of Feinstein’s colleagues on the Board of Supervisors received bombs disguised within candy boxes. In the midst of a police and fire strike in late summer, someone placed a bomb on Mayor Joseph Alioto’s front lawn along with the threatening message: ‘Don’t Threaten Us.’ That September, San Francisco witnessed serial joiner Sara Jane Moore attempt to assassinate President Gerald Ford. And forty years ago this month, Supervisor Dan White, a centrist Democrat close to Feinstein, murdered Mayor George Moscone and Supervisor Harvey Milk in an act of sour grapes in response to the mayor’s about-face refusal to re-seat him on the board from which he had recently resigned.” Pelosi was elected as a member of the Democratic National Committee in 1976 and as the party chair for Northern California the following year. She “owed her standing, and later her seat in Congress, to the Burton political machine,” Flynn wrote. “This machine, and the Northern California Democratic Party that Pelosi chaired, worked overtime to legitimize San Francisco’s most diabolical purveyor of political violence in a decade dominated by it.

Today, Pelosi hails from “a city that bans plastic straws, freebie Happy Meal toys, and the sale of fur coats … a parochial cosmopolitanism that does not translate well to other districts,” Flynn wrote. Now, “for Pelosi to hold on to the speaker’s gavel, she needs to let go of the crank causes and extremist politics that characterizes her adopted hometown. And if her entry into San Francisco politics did not provide this lesson then perhaps her last exit from the speaker’s chair might. After aggressively pursuing a far-left agenda after Barack Obama’s 2008 victory, House Democrats lost 63 seats 2010.” Abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), holding impeachment hearings, and pushing Medicare for All “each strike as precisely the type of ideas enjoying popularity in San Francisco that suggest doom for Democrats elsewhere should the incoming speaker pursue them,” Flynn wrote.

Democrats demand removal of Illinois election judge after she reported fraud

An election judge in St. Clair County, Illinois said Democrats demanded she be removed from her position after she tweeted that she had witnessed and stopped potential election fraud on Nov. 6. Peggy A. Hubbard posted a multi-tweet thread explaining what she witnessed as she watched at a polling station during the 2018 midterm election.

Hubbard tweeted: “I witnessed attempted voter fraud on Tuesday. 92 yr old woman with dementia who could not speak. A man with 2 drivers licenses and 4 different addresses. A woman that didn’t live in the city she was voting in. And, Democrats were going to let them all VOTE! I stopped it….” That wasn’t all Hubbard, a U.S. military veteran, said she witnessed. “I even had a man SO drunk he forgot his name. You could smell him from 7 feet away. And, they were going to let him vote. Unreal what Democrats would allow.”

Hubbard also noted that she saw a city council member allegedly violating election rules. “The Democrats filed complaints against me. They are asking for my REMOVAL as an election judge in St Clair county IL. This after I caught a city council member less than 10 feet from the polling place passing out fliers and other items. Rules say 100 ft. I called State attorney.” Hubbard continued: “I challenged it. Called the county courthouse, called the states attorney who are on stand by. And I wasn’t intimidated by the Democrat poll watchers or election judges. I challenged.”

In 2016, Hubbard had also tweeted about possible election fraud in Illinois. “2016 East St Louis, IL Precinct officials caught buying votes for alcohol and $5 bucks. Alorton, IL Mayor and 4 city council members caught stuffing ballot box and absentee ballots from vacant lots. Washington Park, IL 75 absentee ballots from same address. ALL DEMOCRATS.”

Filmmaker embedded in migrant caravan exposes false media narrative

A filmmaker destroyed the corporate media’s narrative of the migrant caravan that is heading for the U.S.-Mexico border, finding the group of migrants is mostly male and highly organized. The media has constructed a narrative that the caravan is a spontaneous event which includes thousands of women and children. Ami Horowitz, in an interview with Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Nov. 13, said he found otherwise when he went to the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca to film the caravan. “What we do know is this thing cost millions and millions of dollars,”

Horowitz said. “The mainstream media, and there are so many layers [of] onions to peel back, it’s hard to know where to begin. One of the lies the fake news if you will, media is trying to propagate is the fact that all of this is a weird organic thing and all the water and the food and medicine, all dropped from … manna from heaven. It’s bologna. It’s all highly organized. It’s paid for by a number of organizations, we don’t know exactly where the money is coming from.” Carlson asked Horowitz: “Why haven’t other news organizations gotten to the bottom of this? You’re one man, you’re doing this independently. Why isn’t NBC News or ABC or PBS, why aren’t they on this?” Horowitz replied: “You know the answer to that. They don’t want to get to the bottom of this. They have no interest politically in getting to the bottom of it. The same reason why, when you see a photo in The New York Times or The Washington Post or a video on CNN or the BBC or MSNBC. What do you see? The entire framing are women and children when the reality is so far from the truth, 90-95 percent of all the people in this caravan are men.”
