>nor am i getting emotional
>you on the other hand seem very upset that i’m not seeing what you’re seeing
Pathologizing dissent/defense of truth
Now (((who))) else argues like this I wonder?
>i’ve seen different maps
Can you post them with sauce plz?
Truth isn't arbitrary and it isn't a matter of opinion. If it can be verified, let's deal in established facts rather than "I've seen…" Whether you like honey mustard or BBQ on your tendies is opinion. Geography and proposed infrastructure is not.
Thanks guys. I'm a Californian many generations back. My family founded my hometown, and I was born in the same hospital as my parents and grandparents. We've lost everything (not these fires, but from illegal immigrant decimation). What's happening now on top of that is tragic. It's not right that some people can be so flip about it. We come here for the truth, not to have people thumb their noses at it.
>I don't mind speculative posts like a theory someone is exploring.
Agreed here, anon. I like when good insights or well drawn theories are posted–and noted too.
>often the case that people think that their article or map or whatever is sufficient all alone.
A few weeks back RGB–one of our regular bakers–posted something to this effect, said anons were getting lazy. The best posts have a) caps or text of content, b) anon expanation of significance/context, and of course sauce. I prefer when bakers at least require sauce, but I also see them ask for explanations and context before noting stuff too.
>this was the case with the original post on the rail lines
It wasn't just that it was a pic w/o sauce, but the pic was itself fake news–showing a pattern where none existed bc comparing apples to oranges: small area vs. large area as though the same scale.
>MFW I will never get to experience the beautiful, clean, sunny, civilized California
It's not about glamor anon, it's about home. No different than all patriots fighting for their countries. There are millions of conservative Californians who fought illegal immigration and other commie takeovers every day of their lives. We were farmers and regular people–not the (((rootless cosmopolitans))) that moved to the coasts & cities from lib areas and brought that shit with 'em. We had our votes stolen and were overturned by federal judges/SCOTUS when they couldn't steal enough to stop our wins. When Q says "Stay together" he means we shouldn't infight and take our frustrations out on each other. There are Cali-anons who are as woke as it gets because we were the first wave of what the cabal has in store for the rest of you. Not everyone fought it, but many of us did. And we're still here, on this board, fighting for our country. Because we know the hell that awaits if we fail to take it back.
>Apparently, the maps for UN takeover and rewilding of California match the fire zones.
Can you post sauce for this, anon? Be interesting to see.
I just realized I misread your post the first time anon, apologies. I'm so used to people bashing Californians that's the lens I had on at first. My entire family has left the state, and we're called "California refugees" in our new states. I don't even begrudge my host-state residents that. They don't deserve being invaded by those (((Californians))) that are merely chasing real estate deals in neighboring states, knowing the rest of us will be flooding in like rats making property prices rise. The whole thing is so fucked.
Now I see you're talking about the "refugees" from Latin America. What those vicious aztec animals did to our homes, our schools, our people… it really was hell on earth. But when I was little, we could see the snow-capped Sierra's even from the valley, the air was so clean. The skies a cornflower blue. Summer nights were just the right amount of warm, never humid or sticky, just the kind of air your skin felt welcome in. No pollution. We'd sit on the fence and tempt the horses over with the best grass just a little out of their reach… and after picking blackberries all day by the creek you'd smell the cobbler cooking before your nuclear family got nuked, before everything got so goddamn Jewed beyond recognition. The fires are just a metaphor for what they've done to us on the inside, to our culture.
Thanks anon, I got a little nostalgic there. I'm from the same area Steinbeck is, I guess it's baked into the cake.
Good observation anon. I agree. I think the second model–science/philosophy/in-depth is more in keeping with the original autist diggs. The "we the news now" came later. I'd say this is still the difference in the character of nightshift vs. dayshift tho. We could use a juicy puzzle from Q to spend days digging into together, autists would enjoy that.
>China
God damn it. I knew this was a problem on the West Coast further north, but didn't know how much it had impacted Cali. I worked in tech (SF bay area) nearly 20 years, and we were totally pushed out/had our wages driven down by Chinese and Indian H1B's. We've been sold down the river six ways from Sunday. (((They))) deserve every bit of pain coming to them.
Holy crap I'm up WAY past bedtime and have workfagging tomorrow. I guess the fires affected me more than I realized–triggered old losses. I'm so sorry to all of you going through this horror now. Will pray you and yours come out safely.
G'night anons
>Liberals, modern day Democrats and other garbage spewers have no love for natural beauty.
Beyond the simple, homey grace of the valley, Yosemite and the Sierras, the coastal redwoods, are natural wonders that are indescribably beautiful. I feel blessed I got to experience them. But I think of Q's quote about
healing our land, and I trust we'll get it back. All of it. We have you anons to thank for it.
