The tax code is over 66,000 pages, nobody, not even tax lawyers, have read the entire tax code. Taxes are used to reward and penalize groups of people, always have always will. If the govt cant steal enough from the normies they will "deficit" spend and make you pay it back later. Taxes are also called fees, licenses, assessments, penalties, fines, insurance, and tariffs. Taxes always mean more for them and less for you. ANYONE sincere about returning power to the people would start with a mandatory balanced budget amendment and abolish the tax code and all ancillary fees and institute a flat rate consumer tax on purchases. They rich buy more and pay more, the poor buy less and pay less. Any increase in taxes should only be allowed by popular vote.
They clearly have too many people on the payroll.
